From his position he could see everything. Actually, see would be the wrong sense and "everything" was the wrong noun. From his position he could only see the interior of the spacious bedroom. The two beds, aligned neatly with the side walls, and nicely decorated with thick sheets of basic colors and to top if off, large pillows, nicely accenting the main color pallet of the bed sheets, not to mention the entire room.
A couple windows lined the wall, each dark cherry colored and allowing the view an excellent view of the school perimeter. Some accessories were strategically placed around the room, such as lamps, frames, miscellaneous little items that gave them room a nice finish. Lastly was the entrance, which was composed of the same material as the windows.
But aside from that, he couldn't see anything else. The correct sense would be "feel" and the correct noun would be "emotions". From that position in the room, or even in the school, he could pick up the faintest traces of emotions that were pouring out of the other students. It was rather nice gift, to be able to have insight on such things, but it was also tricky. He was confident in is ability to cope with it, although in the past it had made him question himself.
Getting into one's heart wasn't always a nice things. There were feelings that people held, and sometimes they were dark, and looking into them, because at times he couldn't help whose he picked up, was never a good experience. But right now he was far enough away from the one person that held those feelings.
Getting up from his bed, Ryuusei stood. Now wasn't the time to think about that. Smiling, he turned to walk out of the door and into the long corridor of the hallway. Reaching the door, he brought his hand to knob and turned. Not the time... He told himself, still smiling as he took his first steps out of the door.

"Ah, Ryuusei." a voice said from behind. This voice, of all, a Rick. Dressed in his usual attire, a strange labcoat, black slacks, and shiney, black shoes. He always carried a clip board with him. To him it made him look organized, intellegent. But, of course, he didn't need that to do that. He was gifted with intellegence, as all of his male side of the family was. His mother, however, had no gift. She was what people would call "normal." Beautiful, but normal. Rick, however, was of a genious level. He read books at three chapters per second. He knew things others didn't from birth. He could invent things on sight without any training. And he did so. His father, on the other hand, studied on the place where "gifted people" went when they died rather than inventions. But a week ago he discovered a spirit that would, perhaps, change the world. He didn't understand what it was, but he knew it was very much alive. So he took it back with him. All it needed was a body. "You should come to home room with me. I've got something very miraculous to show you." he said, shoving a shifting manga back into his pocket. Not only was Rick obsessed with eggs, science, and technology; he was obsessed with a manga/anime called "Chobits." Overly obsessed, mind you. "Come and witness the new beggining of MAN KIND!" he yelled, dramatically putting his arms out into the air, turning himself around and marching to another room.

"Ah, Rick, your ecstatic is nearly overwhelming." Ryuusei said as the obsessive, yet brilliant, Rick walked away, going on to who knows what. Probably planing to rant to more people about his latest creation. Ah, that was fine, but his most recent project seemed unstable. The way he explained it had aroused many suspicions in Ryuusei. He shook his head. This school didn't need a bad reputation. Because of his suspicions, Ryuusei decided he would see what Rick was speaking of.
Classes would begin after breakfast. It was true that this students were very fortunate. The school was very classy so school experience differed than it would at a regular high school. Ryuusei hadn't minded high school, but here it was a lot nicer. Back then, all you had to was keep to yourself and you'd be fine, for the most part. Here, you actually fit in, mostly.
Training would begin after classes were over, and Ryuusei wouldn't like it if Rick did something unreasonable, causing that to be canceled. Rick was smart, that much could be said, but being wise and being smart were to different things, both of which varied depending on each person.
Well, everyone else should be at breakfast by now, and Ryuusei didn't want to miss it. Heading for the stairs, he took off with a relaxed pace, never being one for rushing.

"Rick, it took you long enough! You know I'm missing breakfist for this?" said a girl. She looked Hawaiian. She was tan, brown eyed, and had short, shaggy brown hair. That being said, she didn't SOUND Hawaiian. Just another girl who came from far away. She twirled a small flame in her fingers. Yes. Flame. Naomi, this tan girl, was gifted with the power to control fire. To make fire was impossible, so she always had a lighter in her pocket. She wasn't all that good at it, mostly little fires were her calling. "Du shoult have eaten before du came." said a German girl's voice. She was sitting there, all dressed up. Her thick, long, blond, curly hair was pulled into two tails on the side of her head. She just sat there calmly, sipping from a floating tea cup. The German girl, Cynthia, was gifted with the ability to move things with her mind. She was good at it, mind you, she just had a hard time picking up heavier things. People, for the most part, were fine, but things like cars were a little harder. "Vhy hast du brought us here?" she asked, sharply.
"To witness the new beggining of man kind!" Rick said, stalking to a sheet covered object. He turned to Ryuusei and smiled. "I give you- a REAL chobit! I give you Aphrodiaties! I give you, Dai!" he yelled, pulling the sheet off and throwing it onto the floor. Underneath was, indeed, a real chobit. Or, maybe just a persocom. But it WAS something of Rick's obsession. It was a girl of rich beauty. She had fair skin, light blonde hair, unusual green eyes, and two persocom ears that were blue and white. She was, maybe, only 5'0" tall and her hair was cutt into a pixie-cutt with side-swept bangs. She looked around, calmly. That was Rick's grand creation, modeled after his own mother, who died two years prior.

This creation was a bit troubling. Rick had created a robot of some sorts, but unlike normal robotic mannered beings, she looked truly human, and most beautiful at that. Perhaps she even behaved like a human. Ah, well, Ryuusei was impressed, he gave Rick that much. And the "Chobit", Aphrodiaties, intrigued him. It would be very interesting to test his ability on her. After all, if she did think like a person, this would be all new ground for him, an all new adventure in some sort. Ryuusei smiled, "This is impressive, Rick." Then he cut to the point, not seeing the need for small talk, "Does Dai-chan function like a human being?"

Rick smiled at him. "Ah yes. Behind a beautiful cover she is more behaved, but yet human. She can learn, which she has some to do, she has most emotions including sadness, anger, jealousy, happiness, and love. Unlike humans, she manages them well. She has no malfunctions. She learns differently and more quickly than humans do. Like an infant, until she learns a great deal, she will absorb all knowlage like a sponge. She is a computer, and can check your e-mails, download things for you, play music, and work normal computers etc." he walked around Dai, pressing a button on her left ear and pulling out a cord. He connected this cord to a computer monitor that was sitting next to his Persocom. On the screen showed a number of symbols, pictures of things like the things that were in the room. A smiley face flashed in the bottom right side of the screen. It was smilely, contently. "These are all of the things she's learned." said Rick, pointing to the screen. "When she learns more, more vibrant pictures of where her spirit is from and what it went through. What she's feeling like is displayed at the bottom right side of the screen. She has no needs or wants. She cannot cry, no matter how sad she gets. She cannot reproduce or have menstral cycals. She is softer than real human skin. She is more polite and neat. She requires no sleep. To activate her there is a switch in the lower 'female area.' And look." he said, lifting up the Persocom's shirt. In between it's breasts was a number. "01." The first of the Persocoms. "Would you like to feel?" asked Rick to Ryuusei, pointing at Dai's chest. "Softer than a real female's."

Ryuusei waved his hand in the air and smiled, ((ooc: he smiles a lot because that's his way hiding what he's really feeling and all o.o)) "Iiya, I really shouldn't." No matter how much you wanted to do something, it was best that you don't let your emotions get a hold of you. After all, very seldom did they ever lead you down the right path. And because of this, Ryuusei was freting. Rick seemed like he developed an unhealthy obsession with these life forms, and knowing him, that would probably come back as an unfavorable result.
Aside from all those facts, Ryuusei took very seriously what Rick said about Dai-chan being like a sponge, and he certainly wouldn't want to leave a bad impression of himself on her, knowing that she would soon learn that touching people's private areas was intolerable. Well, hopefully she would, Rick would be the one that she learned the most from, most likely, so who knew?

"C'mon." said Rick, moving over to Ryuusei and getting into his ear. "You and I both know you want to." The way he said it sounded like black mailing someone.
"Porno!" yelled the persocom pointing to Rick's rear end. From it was another book, not like Chobits. It had a picture of a nude lady on the cover and at the top it said,"XXX." Rick blushed, shoving the book back into his pocket and flipping around. "No Dai!" he yelled, waving. Dai began to wave, too, as she saw both Ryuusei and Rick do.
"You pervert!" yelled Naomi, standing up with her hands on her hips.
"Und how do du think sie learnt dat wort?" said Cynthia, sipping her tea again.
Dai looked up at Rick, confused. "Porno?" she said, in a questioning voice.
"No no no!" said Rick, blushing again. "Rick." He said, pointing to himself.
"Rick?" questioned Dai, pointing at Rick. She began pointing at things, and at everything she called "Rick."
"NO!" said Rick, falling to his knees. "Just me... Only I am Rick..."

Ryuusei laughed, "Yare, yare, you look like you have a problem, Rick." He bent down to get at Rick's level. He looked up at Dai. She seemed so innocent now. Of course, innocence was lost with knowledge, so everyone should enjoy it while it lasted. Dai would prove to be very interesting. Very interesting indeed.
Getting up, he smiled at her, "Dai-chan." He said softly, getting familiar with the name. He wondered how she would react if her name was called, or if she even knew that was her name or not.

"Hai?" she questioned, thingying her head to the side at Ryuusei. It wasn't a question of her name, but more of like,"yes, what is it?" questioning. She was well aware of her name. She knew it must be her's because when spoken to anyone who's ever spoken to her has said that word. "Dai." And she knew the word "hai" because she heard it many times, as well. She heard it from Rick several times when he aggitatively answered his fathers questions about his chores. She was also familiar with Rick and his father lifting up her shirt to show people her number. She remembered Rick saying,"Dai is an origional!" so that must have meant 01 means she "is an origional!" Yes, of course! It all was comming into her head now. "Dai is an origional!" she said, almost like quoting it. She, then again, liften up her shirt and pointed to the '0' on her chest. Then she started to remember Rick's speeches, as they were always the same word for word. "Softer than normal females!" she then said again. Another recognizable quote.
"Dai... you shouldn't do that... it's not proper.." said Rick, putting Dai's shirt down again. She thingyed her head to the side, then her eyes met something else in the hall.... two loves. Hugging eachother as they gave their farewells. "I'll miss you." said the girl with chestnut hair that she pulled into a ponytail. The boy that was with her was the girl's height and also had brown hair. He simply nodded and walked off, leaving the girl. Dai didn't understand this,"I'll miss you." She smiled, shifting her gaze back to Ryuusei. Then she launched forward, talking him to the floor in a hug. "I'll miss you!" she said, smileing and rubbing her head up against his chest. Rick seemed a bit angry, crossing his arms and standing there glaring at her.
"So cute!" exclaimed Naomi, chuckleing. "Yeah, real cute." she tought. Cynthia knew EXACTLY what she was thinking and nodding, smileing.

Dai's action was completely unexpected and it took Ryuusei by surprise. Of course, pulling her own shirt up was shocking in its own, but should have been expected. Being tackled to the ground was another things, however. Ryuusei would have liked it, had he been more used to being touched by girls. Really, he wasn't used to being touched by people at all, however, he would rather have Dai hug him than someone else, because even though he only knew Dai for a few minutes, he trusted her the most at the moment.
"Ah, you're very friendly." He sighed, but then smiled. That wasn't really a bad trait. Ryuusei was actually thankful. If everyone was like this, the world would have no problems. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Ryuusei decided to give his best to her, and answered, "I'll miss you too." Then he gently lifted her so he could stand.
There were four people, and something else, something less recognizable. But it was there, none the less. A new presence in this school. Something different from all the abnormal life forms already housed here. And Sabrina didn't like it. She could make out Rick, Naomi, Cynthia, and Ryuusei perfectly fine. Their sense had become familiar to her. She'd have to do an investigation of the event going on in that room. The situation felt...unstable.
